VF1000R Smartphone mounting

I want to use my smartphone for navigation. Here is my solution:

At the indicator lights, there is ground (green) and also switched 12V (black/brown). I had the cigarette lighter to USB converter. Removed the housing and soldered the cable for 12V supply. So I can charge the phone when ignition is switched on.

I post an update, when mounted on the bike.

Here is the update. First is crimping the wires of the charger to the existing ones. In used this tubes that shrinks on heating to isolate them.

Everything up in place. Nothing blocks the steering. If you switch on the ignition, the phone is charged.
